Techniques: Had never tried this slip stitch pattern before. Very effective.

Observations: These were a quick "fall-back" after the item that I intended making for the "Home and Hearth" exchange went pear-shaped, or was it diamond-shaped?

Techniques: Nifty way of encasing ends on zipper placket.

Observations: I added some extras rows to the torso length without taking into account how the stipe match between the sleeves and body / body and hood would work, so I ended up doing them self-coloured to avoid a mismatch or tons of mathematics. (Not my strong point.) I actually think it turned out really effective.
